This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Thanks soo much. I really don't have time to be putting up any at the moment as I have tones of college work all the time. I will definitely put up some more during the summer holiday months. Thanks for all the faves by the way much appreciated
i agree, i had been on a two year hiatus because i had to study for my high school graduation exam and it killed me that i didnt have the time to draw or paint or do anything arty. so for the past two months i've been doing an artwork a day basically, and i think once university starts for me in march this year i won't have a lot of time to draw... but i hope you keep drawing and i look forward to seeing more of your stuff!!
Hey haven't been talking to you in ages. With 1 portfolio you can apply to Animation year 1(CDS) and the animation year above that (CCH) they will let you skip onto it if they think your work is good enough. You can also apply to the illustration(AIH) course in the college using that same portfolio. Buy a good sketch book and fill it with drawings of your dog/cat etc. they will love that.DO NOT DRAW ANIME THEY HATE THAT as it is impossible for anyone outside japan to get working in the industry there. Do loads of real life drawings for it, you can put in some of your own work also. Do not draw from photos, your drawings will end up looking flat they will be able to tell if you do. No plagiarism whatsoever. The interview is very casual they will ask you simple questions like why you want to do animation? Have a good answer for this eg I'm obsessed with drawing. If they ask you what animated films you like eg last year everybody said toy story 3 they get sick of hearing the same answer for this mention another film you would like eg Prince of Egypt, Road to El dorado. OOH OOH OOH and try not to do sketchy sheeps whool line try drawing from your shoulder It will give much nicer results, if you don't know what i'm talking about ask Maurice he will more than likely know what I'm talking about. Tell him I says hello. GOOD LUCK!
